1.Why is folder structure and asset management important?
It's important because you will be less likely to get mixed up if you have a large amount of files, folders and assets. Good management will also allow you to find the things you need faster and save time. If you lose a file it will also be easier to locate where/what you're missing.
2.Explain one pro for why asset management is important?
Asset management makes your work process faster as you don't have to spend time searching for the things you need.
3.Describe one problem you may have if folders are not organised?
If your folders aren't organised, your tutors and perhaps team members won't be able to work efficiently as they need to search for the assets they need if you don't organise them in the right folders.
4.Why is setting a Maya project and saving a scene important e.g. what will happen if a scene is not saved?
If the scene is not saved, you will have to do your work again. This may lead you to make careless mistakes/ mess up your assets and lose working time.
5.What file types does Maya save as?
Maya saves as .ma as its file type.
